To better serve it's customers, Shapes and Pages has established a new site for domains and a wholesale division for domain resales.

Shapes and Pages has recently acquired a number of domain names in the new .eu Top Level Domain (TLD). Several of these will be developed for in-house projects and others are for clients and affiliated companies. The first site coming up is www.mypuli.eu which is slated to become the more reliable and comprehensive source of information for the Hungarian Puli. If you don't know what a Puli is, check out the site. Watch for news on other sites as we bring them online.

The site is for the residents of the Boca Raton community of Paseos. Located in central Boca, just west of Town Center Mall.

Shapes and Pages has launched a new website offering complete website templates, Flash templates, PHP Nuke themes and corporate logo packages. A tremendous variety of styles and designs are available. Most of the templates work with DreamWeaver and Frontpage.

Network changes

Very few people care but we'll be shutting down our network this weekend to install a Cisco router and switch. It should only take a couple hours on Saturday morning.

Traffic management is getting more important as we get busier.

We're also adding DSL as a secondary connection in case the primary fails (like it did after Wilma) and the new router will manage both providers, balance traffic between them and route all traffic to the active provider if one fails.

In case you are not aware of it, South Florida was hit by Hurricane Wilma two weeks ago and things got pretty rough here. We lost power at the office for 11 days. Fortunately none of our family was hurt.

We've cleaned up the office and shut down the generator ... back to work.
